Why we are coming together
Shared roots. A community that keeps learning.
Newtown Square connects our stories. A belief in the value of learning connects our work. At the Pennsylvania Conference for Women, we are bringing community resources and professional learning into the same conversation.

Our PMI roots in Newtown Square
Carrying Jim Snyder’s legacy forward.
Powered by PMI’s Delaware Valley Chapter, the Snyder Center honors James R. Snyder, a co-founder of PMI and a founding member of our chapter. His commitment to sharing knowledge, mentorship, and education continues to guide our work.
That legacy has a local connection: Jim managed construction of PMI’s global headquarters in Newtown Square. Today, we carry his spirit of learning and community into practical education that helps participants build skills, confidence, and professional connections.

A resource rooted in community
A place to discover, connect, and grow.
Newtown Public Library has served its community since 1974, encouraging reading, the exploration of ideas, and lifelong learning for all. Its role reaches beyond books, with programs for different ages, digital resources, public computers and Wi-Fi, and a Thing Library that makes shared items available to borrow.
Its community-informed strategic plan emphasizes local partnerships, broader programming, digital offerings, and stronger connections with schools. These priorities position the library as a resource that grows with the people it serves.
