Privacy Policy
How we handle information you provide through our website, reservation forms, inquiries, and registration-opening reminders.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Your request and your choices matter. We use the information you provide to respond to your request and administer the offering you selected. An opening-reminder request is not permission for general marketing. You can contact us to correct your information, withdraw a request, or ask about deletion.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy describes how The Snyder Center for Project Excellence, an educational initiative powered by the PMI Delaware Valley Chapter (PMI-DVC), handles information collected through SnyderCenter.org and the linked forms used for Snyder Center reservations, learning-support requests, inquiries, and reminders.
Links to other organizations and services may take you to websites with their own privacy notices. This policy does not replace those notices.
2. Information we collect
The information requested depends on the form you use. It can include:
- Your name and email address.
- Your selected course, cohort, lab, study-group series, clinic, or other offering.
- Your inquiry or message and any information you choose to include.
- Your acknowledgment of reservation terms, optional reminder request, and optional marketing preference, where those choices are offered.
- Submission dates, reservation identifiers, and processing records needed to manage your request, prevent duplicate processing, and record communications.
If you later complete paid registration, enrollment and transaction records are handled separately from an unused reservation. Please do not put payment-card details, government identifiers, passwords, or confidential employer or participant information in reservation or general inquiry fields.
3. How we use your information
We use information to record and manage your selected reservation or request; respond to inquiries; communicate relevant confirmations, priority-access instructions, or support-session information; send an opening reminder when you request one; reconcile a reservation with a later enrollment; and maintain records of consent, delivery, and processing issues.
Submitting an interest or priority reservation is not a paid enrollment or a seat guarantee. The applicable form and offering terms explain what is required to secure a seat.
4. Registration messages, reminders, and marketing
- Request-related messages: We may contact you about the reservation, inquiry, or support offering you selected. Priority-registration messages include the confirmation and personalized code needed to fulfill that request.
- Optional opening reminders: Where a form offers an opening-reminder checkbox, selecting it requests a reminder for that registration opening. It does not subscribe you to general course promotions.
- Optional marketing: Where a separate course-announcements or updates checkbox is offered, that choice is optional. Leaving it unchecked does not prevent you from submitting the reservation.
You can withdraw a reminder request or marketing permission by contacting info@snydercenter.org. You may also use an unsubscribe option when one is included in a marketing email. Withdrawing marketing permission does not itself cancel an enrollment or stop essential communications about an active request or enrollment. Tell us separately if you also want to withdraw that request.
5. Systems and service providers
Our website and operational workflows use services such as Squarespace for website hosting, Airtable for forms and records, Make for workflow connections, and Google Workspace for email. Information submitted through a linked form is processed by that form service and may pass through the services needed to carry out your request. Learning delivery may also use services such as Zoom when you participate in a virtual session.
Information is used by the people and services supporting Snyder Center operations for the purposes described here. Information needed to administer paid enrollment, partner arrangements, accounting, or legal obligations may be handled as part of those separate processes. Choosing an opening reminder is not an authorization for a partner organization to send you unrelated marketing.
6. Retention
Our retention policy is to delete or anonymize unused reservation records 12 months after the scheduled offering. An unused reservation is one that did not become an enrollment or an active participant-support record.
Paid enrollment, participation, and financial records are not subject to that unused-reservation deadline. They may need to be retained for course administration, accounting, dispute resolution, or applicable legal obligations. A separate, active marketing preference is managed independently from an unused reservation; withdrawing that preference stops its use for marketing.
You can ask us about the information associated with your request and request earlier deletion. We may need to retain information required for an active service, transaction, dispute, or legal obligation, and will explain any limitation that applies.
7. Website technology and third-party links
Website hosting, form, and other service providers may process technical information such as device or browser details, IP addresses, and usage information through cookies or similar technology. Their privacy notices explain their own processing. Use your browser settings and any privacy controls presented by the relevant service to manage available choices; restricting cookies may affect how a website or form works.
When you follow an external link, open a third-party form, or use a separate service, review that service's privacy notice. This page does not promise that a browser preference blocks every third-party technology.
8. Your choices and requests
Contact us to correct your name, email, or selected offering; withdraw a reservation or reminder request; change a marketing preference; ask what information we hold about your request; or request deletion. Include enough information to help us locate the request, such as the email address you used and the selected offering. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate way to verify a request.
We may need to verify that a request concerns your information before making a change or disclosing a record. We will explain if a request cannot be completed in full because of an active service or a record-retention obligation.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our forms, services, and practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Any new use that needs a separate choice will be presented separately rather than treating an old opening-reminder request as broader permission.
